The achievement gap is caused by students unable or not willing to work up to their full potential.
What can students do to close the gap?
In order for students to close the gap they need to want to learn, study for as long as possible and challenge themselves.
What can parents do?
In order for parents to close the achievement gap they need to help their kids with homework, be an active member of the PTA and read with their child.
What can teachers/schools do?
Teachers and schoolscan hold all students to the same level of expectations, provide students with skills for the future and encourage students to perform at their best.
